Our May 2016 workshop will discuss how affordable housing can establish and strengthen arts within communities. We will discuss multiple projects within Southern California that place artists as priority residents in developments such as the Long Beach Senior Arts Colony, Glendale Arts Colony and Pac Arts Building in San Pedro and Santa Ana Arts Collective.  We will discuss how these facilities engage with the community, the programs they provide and who is considered an artist.
